Bitpace, a leading global crypto payment gateway, has announced the integration of the Global Dollar (USDG) stablecoin onto its platform. The addition provides merchants, payment service providers, brokers and real estate businesses with an efficient digital asset option for international invoice processing and cross-border settlement. By introducing USDG support, Bitpace aims to reduce settlement friction and foreign exchange costs for commercial enterprises operating across multiple jurisdictions. Businesses that manage international transactions frequently encounter operational delays and elevated costs associated with legacy payment systems. Traditional cross-border wire transfers often involve multiple intermediary banking partners. Stablecoin technology mitigates these issues by combining blockchain settlement efficiency with fiat-backed value stability. USDG is designed as a regulated dollar-backed stablecoin created to facilitate reliable value transfer across blockchain networks without exposure to the price volatility commonly associated with unbacked digital assets. Through the Bitpace platform, clients can leverage USDG without building or maintaining separate liquidity pools, custody frameworks or conversion mechanisms. The integration allows merchants to incorporate USDG into their existing workflows and checkouts.

“The addition of USDG aligns with our goal to provide as many payment options for international commerce, enabling businesses to streamline global payment flows,” said Anil Oncu, Chief Executive Officer at Bitpace.

As corporate demand for blockchain payment solutions grows, Bitpace continues to expand its supported asset list and treasury settlement infrastructure, facilitating global settlements in over 75 crypto and 40 fiat currencies. The platform provides automated conversion mechanisms, comprehensive reporting tools and API capabilities designed to support commercial payment requirements worldwide.
