HopNow has added Utila’s institutional wallet infrastructure to expand the range of digital assets it can support for clients across its global FX and settlement platform. The integration connects HopNow’s virtual accounts, FX liquidity, and local payment capabilities with wallets managed through Utila. Businesses can receive local currency through rails such as SEPA, SPEI, and PIX, convert those funds into stablecoins through HopNow, and settle them into wallets secured and governed through Utila. The same infrastructure supports the reverse flow, converting stablecoins into local currency for onward settlement. Both companies see stablecoins becoming part of the broader FX and settlement stack used by payment firms, fintechs, and global businesses. “HopNow already provides the FX, liquidity, and local settlement infrastructure its clients use across more than 30 currencies. Utila gives the team the wallet infrastructure to add new asset support faster while maintaining consistent security, governance, and transaction controls,” says Bentzi Rabi, Co-Founder and CEO of Utila.

“We didn’t want to choose between speed to market and institutional grade security,” commented Brent Traidman, Co-CEO and Co-Founder at HopNow. “Speed and pricing are important to our clients who move quickly, and Utila keeps up with and matches that speed of execution for us and our clients. Security is table stakes. Utila’s wallet infrastructure let us plug stablecoin settlement directly into our FX and payments stack, so our team can focus on what we do best: moving money across corridors.”
